THE CHALLENGE: Produce a capstone photography project that highlights my passions and demonstrates what I’ve gained in photography knowledge and skill.
THE APPROACH: After witnessing pleas from both the USA Women’s National Soccer Team and Hockey Team in 2017 for equal gender rights, I was inspired to speak to this cause. By gathering female athletes of all ages and from a wide range of sports, I combined their portraits, their opinions, and history of women in their sport to help audiences understand their place in the sporting world today.
