THE APPROACH: Whether it was in the office or kayaking out on the water, I wanted to learn as much about the Riverway as I could and how it connects and communicates with the surrounding communities.       <image:caption>THE CHALLENGE: Design and implement a new logo for Sagitec Solutions, an IT company focusing on pension and unemployment insurance software.  THE APPROACH: Sagitec has been looking for ways to standout from its competition and as I picked up this stalled project as a newcomer, I was excited to utilize my fresh eyes to update the company’s logo. We wanted something simple, dynamic, and an update to an identity that was stuck in the 90’s.</image:caption>

THE APPROACH: While every outcome is different and each solution warrants its own unique personality, the logo design process remains much the same. Researching a visual direction and defining key words are critical to my process and I’m always ensuring that clients’ voices are heard…because the client is always right.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>THE CHALLENGE: Choose a social or business problem as a basis to design and exhibit a senior capstone project related to the theme “Undoing Design.” THE APPROACH: Loneliness among elderly populations is a serious problem that is often overshadowed, while children in today’s society often don’t have the chance to build relationships with elders for whatever reason. By joining these two demographics by way of teaching, conversation, and trading knowledge, fOLOW is a service that seeks to help children and the elderly connect.</image:caption>

THE APPROACH: After witnessing pleas from both the USA Women’s National Soccer Team and Hockey Team in 2017 for equal gender rights, I was inspired to speak to this cause. By gathering female athletes of all ages and from a wide range of sports, I combined their portraits, their opinions, and history of women in their sport to help audiences understand their place in the sporting world today.</image:caption>
